German-speaking CPA (Florida) - International US Accounting & Tax

(no generic „accountant“ - but responsibility for international structures, quality and tax clarity for German female entrepreneurs in the USA)

Brief description of the role

You are our professional anchor for US accounting and US tax returns in an international context.
Your focus is on Floridian single-member LLCs and partnerships with predominantly German owners

Your mission

• You ensure that our clients navigate through the US system in a tax-compliant, clean and stress-free manner.
• You translate complex US tax law (ECI, FDAP, 1040-NR, 1065, 5472, 1120, etc.) into clear, workable solutions.
• You are a sparring partner for structural issues at the US-Germany interface.
• You raise the quality and standardization of our accounting and tax processes to a professional CPA level.

Your main responsibilities

• Preparation and review of US tax returns (esp. 1040-NR, Schedule E, 5472, 1120, 1065/K-1).
• Professional support for Floridian single-member LLCs and partnership structures.
• Clean tax classification of business income vs. rental income and other income like shareholder income (ECI / FDAP).
• Support with Section 871(d) elections for Short-Term Rental structures.
• FIRPTA processing and calculation from a tax and advisory perspective
  Quality assurance of current accounting (Xero) from a tax perspective.
• Clear professional communication with German-speaking clients (without CPA jargon).

• Teams / Zoom / Outlook
• Confident handling of digital document and accounting processes
• Optional: Experience with international clients (non-resident aliens)
